Valid Passport

Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure from Kenya. Clear photo/scan of the information page required.

Passport-Style Photo

Recent color photo against white background. Digital version acceptable - we can help optimize if needed.

Travel Dates & Details

Exact arrival and departure dates. Flight information if already booked. Accommodation details for first night.

Personal Information

Full name (exactly as on passport), date of birth, nationality, occupation, contact information.

Emergency Contact

Name and contact information for emergency contact person (can be in your home country).

Purpose of Travel

Kenya Travel Glossary

Understand the terms and requirements

Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)
Kenya's mandatory pre-approval for travelers from visa-exempt countries. Not a visa, but required for entry. Valid for single entry within 90 days of issue, maximum 90-day stay.
Biometric Data
Unique physical characteristics used for identification. For Kenya ETA, this includes fingerprints and facial recognition collected on arrival at immigration.
Single vs. Multiple Entry
Single Entry: Allows one entry into Kenya. If you leave, you need a new ETA to return. Multiple Entry: Allows multiple entries during validity period. Standard Kenya ETA is single entry.
eVisa
Electronic visa for travelers from non-visa exempt countries. Different from ETA - requires more documentation and has different processing. Most Etahelp clients need ETA, not eVisa.
Yellow Fever Certificate
Required if traveling from or through a yellow fever endemic country. Must be administered at least 10 days before travel. Valid for life.
Return/Onward Ticket
Proof you intend to leave Kenya within the allowed period. Can be flight ticket to another country or return to home country. Required for ETA approval.
